Welcome to our digital expo SME Connect, a business expo that provides digital space and gateway for interested parties to get connected. This expo is executed digitally through the IEF Mobile App.

By downloading, browsing, accessing or using this IEF APP mobile application (“Mobile Application”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions of Use. We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. If you disagree with any of these Terms and Conditions of Use, you must immediately discontinue your access to the Mobile Application and your use of the services offered on the Mobile Application. Continued use of the Mobile Application will constitute acceptance of these Terms and Conditions of Use, as may be amended from time to time.

By agreeing with the terms of the SME Connect digital expo event, every paying subscriber acknowledges that the entity that produced this digital event, IEF, Inc. is not claiming, acting and functioning as an investment intermediary, rather an event organizer/producer.

SME Connect provides gateway for seafarers (subscribers) and SMEs (Small and Medium Enterprises, franchises and other businesses) to transact independently and lawfully without making SME Connect and IEF, Inc. liable for any claims or damages arising out of any communications and/or transactions by and between any interested parties.

Merchants (SME) have a clear understanding that SME Connect opens their business to equity deals. Any offers beyond equity is not encouraged by IEF, Inc., but any agreement by and between the investors and investees are expected to be made in good faith and due care by and between the agreeing parties. Understanding this, IEF, Inc., IEF Mobile App and SME Connect are not liable for any decision outcomes of any deals made.

SME Connect focuses on providing educational campaigns and programs that will elevate the decision making ability of the subscribers of the event but holds itself free of any responsibilities from, and liabilities for the decisions made by the subscribers.

Merchants (SMEs) shall declare only truthful and relevant information in SME Connect. Any fraudulent or misleading declarations will not make IEF, Inc. liable as the event acts as a mere gateway of opportunity and not a broker nor an intermediary.

SME Connect fees paid to the event is non-refundable and not contingent to closing deals. Fees paid represent the subscribers’ intention to gain access to random business opportunities without any contingencies on the actual event outcome.

SME Connect shall not make any direct recommendations to any opportunities. Any commercials or advertisements may be paid airtime by the companies but shall not be considered a direct recommendation.

Merchant (SME) understands that IEF Mobile App is not an intermediary funding portal, and henceforth does not necessarily require the restrictions of a regulated CFI. However, Merchant respects and shall comply with the added requirement of SME Connect as to the requirements of business documents and pitch Q&A as an added value to make the digital event a space for credibility, integrity and objectivity.
